In December 2021, we joined a Facebook group regarding property on the Costa Blanca coast. For our part, it was basically just to keep up as the future plan was to have property in Spain for our retirement. It turned out that the plan was greatly accelerated. After a short time, we talk for minutes, Rudi got in touch and we talked for a long time on the phone. After this, we were sent prospectuses according to our requirements and wishes. Rudi was very helpful and came with good advice and tips all the way.
Rudi also came to visit us at home where he guided us through the entire coast with information about the different places. There was never any pressure and he was very honest when we asked about different projects. As there were restrictions on travel, we could not complete a tour immediately, but that's where Anders came into the picture. He traveled to the facility we had landed at, called us on Facetime so we could see the apartment, the surrounding area and sun conditions on the terrace. After this we signed an open contract and were finally allowed to go on a tour at the end of July.
Anders met us at the airport, drove us to the hotel and showed us where we should go to eat. He drove around with us for three days, we visited many different projects. Anders was also completely honest about what we should go for, there was no pressure from him and he put in many hours every single day to drive us around. It was very nice to have someone who knew both Norwegian and Spanish on the trip. We finally landed on the apartment we had signed a contract for. Anders was with us on signing and was responsible for all translation.
In the time we were at home before the takeover, we had ongoing contact with both Rudi and Anders who helped us with all of the paperwork related to both lawyer, bank and developer. Even after the takeover, we have had contact and received the help we may need.
